To provide a kitchen extension with a roof structure that reduced heat loss from the property.
The design had to include the replacement of the existing dining room roof without disturbing the conservatory.
This property suffered from significant heat loss through an earlier flat roof extension which formed the dining room of the bungalow.
The client required a kitchen extension and wanted to use part of the original kitchen area to form a small cloakroom and utility area.
The design incorporated a double pitched roof over the new kitchen and existing dining room, which had to be designed so that it did not disturb the existing rear conservatory.

To increase the overall living space by extending the property to include a basement wine cellar.
The primary focus was that the materials had to perfectly match with the existing property.
The project was to provide additional living accommodation, initially involving a games/reception room at ground floor and a master bedroom suite at first floor.
The client did not wish to lose from the rear garden and the logical answer was to extend to the front to create the required space.
Creating the extension to the front of the property required complementary design and careful consideration over the selection of materials to ensure the extension did not look obtrusive.

To provide additional living space that allows good access to the garden and transforms the property to generate a feeling of openness whilst having distinctive living areas.
This property was originally designed with a kitchen/dining area, three seperate reception rooms, a utility room and double garage on the ground floor.
The client wanted to convert the existing double garage into a large kitchen/family space, utility room and Japanese bathroom.
A garage was required to replace the existing one lost by the conversion along with an extension to increase the ground floor living space.

The use of environmentally sympathetic architecture to ultimately create a modern house on a complex site within a conservation area.
The client had originally purchased a building plot on the bank of the River Thames which had planning permission for a single dwelling.
Our initial role was to obtain building regulation approval and prepare working drawings for the construction of the building.
