At Marwood Surveyors we inspect the building in detail and comment relative to any significant as well as non significant maintenance works that may be required both pre and post exchange of contracts.
We highlight any urgent matters and draw attention to anything we believe your solicitor should look into on your behalf.
Here at Marwood Surveyors we offer a Home Buyer Report with and without a Valuation.
The Building Survey gives you a comprehensive structural report including defects, repair and maintenance options.
The report includes reference to visible defects and will list those areas that will need Further Investigation prior to your commitment to purchase.
This could be in the form of a Structural Engineers report, or specialist reports on damp, timber decay ad service installations.
The survey will also provide a list of essential repair works with approximate costings.
Other works will be listed such as those considered to be appropriate maintenance issues and also suggestions will be provided on works of possible improvement and up-grading.

If you own a shared ownership property and wish to sell or assign your shared ownership lease you will need a RICS approved valuation report.
Marwood Surveyors can organise this for you.
If you have been asked for such a valuation report, we will visit your home for an initial assessment, and then we will view similar properties that have sold to determine the market value of your home.
Shared Ownership/Equity valuations are valid for three months.
