Chinery Land Surveys
We specialise in measured building surveys, which include floor plans, elevations and sections, throughout the UK. Our drawings are usually used for refurbishment or redevelopment projects, but can also be used for archive records or building maintenance. Whether your project is a single plot or a larger development, the measurement of land is key to building development.

A topographical survey can help you reduce the risk of costly errors. Our experienced surveyors work all over the UK, producing high quality topographical survey drawings to meet your requirements. Typical setting out for construction projects includes the establishment of main grid lines and level datums. As buildings become more complex in design it is essential that all parties have confidence that their work will interface correctly.

Chinery Land Surveys was established in 2006 by Andrew Chinery and his son Ross. Andrew has been practising for over 40 years and Ross for over 18. Between them they have accumulated a vast amount of experience with two of the largest survey firms operating in the UK, both of whom are clients of Chinery Land Surveys.
Services
We specialise in measured building surveys, which include floor plans, elevations and sections, throughout the UK.
Our drawings are usually used for refurbishment or redevelopment projects, but can also be used for archive records or building maintenance.
We work to the RICS specification "Surveys of Land, Buildings and Utility Services at Scales of 1:500 and Larger".
Floor plans, reflective ceiling plans and roof plans can be provided for all buildings from residential to complex buildings.
Surveys are controlled using Leica equipment then supplemented by using MBS measured building software.
Typical setting out required for construction projects includes the establishment of main grid lines and level datums for contractors' work.
As buildings become more complex in design it is essential that all parties have confidence that their work will interface correctly.
The increasing use of pre-fabrication techniques has also meant that surveyors have to achieve ever tighter tolerances in the positioning of structures and their components.
We undertake projects from single residential properties to major buildings.
