Antony Edwards Bsc Hons (Est Man) MRICS is a Chartered Surveyor based in Hereford who provides Property Surveys, Property Valuations and Professional Services throughout Herefordshire and beyond. We both found it a refreshing read being one of the only reports we have received that sets out every element with clarity while providing us with a sense of scale and priority in relation to what needs doing.
In this respect, it has really guided us in our decision to proceed rather than leaving us question whether we are about to take a leap into the unknown. We have also appreciated the personal touch you have brought to the process.' Mr Edwards provided a thorough report which gave us the confidence to proceed with our purchase, and we've not regretted our decision.
It was very helpful that he included information on appropriate remediation work and materials for the historic elements of the building. The level of information provided is exactly what we needed to continue our purchase plans.

This 'basic' style of survey is written to a pre-defined template suitable for properties up to 100 years old of conventional construction.
It is in prcis and colour-coded form.
It highlights those aspects of the property that are cause for significant concern or that are considered to have a negative effect on the value of the property.
It excludes any inspection of the drains and we only inspect accessible roof voids from the loft hatch.
It does not advise on the appropriate next-steps to help resolve these issues, nor does it include a Market Valuation or Photographs.
