Services
Blue Star Asbestos Ltd are a Hampshire based asbestos consultancy working across the South of England and the Isle of Wight.
We offer a complete range of asbestos services, providing all the information and guidance needed to locate and manage asbestos on your premises.
Our consultants and asbestos surveyors are all fully qualified to British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) nationally recognised standards for working with asbestos.
All surveys are carried out in accordance with HSE Guidance Document HSG264 Asbestos: The Survey Guide.
Asbestos Management Surveys are used to locate the presence and extent of any Asbestos Containing Material (ACM) in a property which could be damaged or disturbed during normal occupancy.
The Management Survey forms the foundation of the asbestos register and is the basis for the continued management of any identified ACMs.
The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 (CAR 2012) was introduced to combat the high mortality rates associated with asbestos exposure in the UK.
The legislation aims to reduce human exposure to asbestos through continued management and surveys.
If you suspect you have asbestos on-site or in your home, we will attend to collect single or multiple samples which will be analysed in a UKAS accredited laboratory, an analysis certificate is then emailed to you (usually within 24 hours of sampling).
This service is perfect if a full survey is not required.
You may need an asbestos test if a full survey is not required.
The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 (CAR 2012) was introduced to combat the high mortality rates associated with asbestos exposure in the UK.
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requires that fire risk assessments are carried out on any non-domestic premises, including measures to reduce or eliminate the risk of fire, and identify persons at risk.
As well as commercial properties, communal areas of residential buildings are also covered under the Order.
This includes blocks of flats and HMOs.
Our fire risk assessor will attend your site, liaise with the responsible person and conduct a thorough review of your building.
A comprehensive report is then issued with findings and recommendations included along with a timescale of when the work should be completed, where applicable.

Chris responded to our enquiry quickly, came and did the job and sent us the report within a couple of days. The price was very reasonable too, I would recommend him!
