Services
Our team has both the technical and management skills needed for efficient project management within the building industry.
At DRPL, we carefully plan, organise, motivate and control resources to achieve your business goals on complex buildings, both refurbishment and new build projects.
Our project managers will work with you throughout the whole process, from start to finish.
We identify and manage risks to ensure you achieve your goals and deliver business benefits on time and within budget.
DRPL's highly qualified Chartered Surveyors are the ideal choice to act as Employer's Agent, Contract Administrator and / or Lead Consultant when considering your construction project.
Our experienced and professional Surveyors act as Project Manager, Cost Manager and also administer the build contract to ensure the success of your project.
The role of Contract Administrator encompasses the pre-contract coordination and compilation of the build contract between the Employer and the Contractor, as well as administering the post contract activities to ensure the correct details of the construction are adhered to.
Building Surveying is one of the widest areas of the surveying profession; therefore, as well as having an in-depth knowledge of construction and building defects, our Building Surveyors are involved in all aspects of the Construction Industry, from supervising large developments, to planning domestic extensions or diagnosing building defects.
The term Dilapidations refers to the lease covenant breaches relating to the condition of a commercial property, either during a lease term or at the lease end.
A party wall is a dividing wall or floor between two adjoining buildings (or units) that is shared by the owners / occupiers of each residence or business.
The Party Wall etc. Act 1996 is the legislation that governs Party Wall issues.
At DRPL, our Chartered Building Surveyors look to protect the wall / floor in question to ensure that any likely damage to your property is minimised.
We ensure relevant procedures are followed and documentation in place to avoid delays and damage.
If you're thinking about having building work on your property, you might need to notify your neighbours if the work will take place near or on a shared boundary or party wall.
The new CDM Regulations were made law in 2015, and DRPL are qualified to advise you on your obligations as Client, Principal Designer or Designer.
Our CDM consultants will assist you in fulfilling your legal obligations for health and safety.
We can co-ordinate health and safety throughout the pre-construction phase of the project, from the initial design of a building to commencing on site.
A Fire Risk Assessment is required for any commercial property or commercial space within a property.
We can carry out this assessment to ensure your property is compliant.
